Time is counting down on the MHO Charity Drive! You could win a 9 to 5 lithograph by Broadway's favorite caricaturist, Squiggs (and signed by Megan), and all you have to do is contribute to one of Megan's favorite charities by January 1, 2010. Find out more about the charity drive on its Nothing But Sun thread. This is a great way to say thank you to Megan for all the beautiful performances she's given to her fans in the last year.
Our "12 days of Megan" video countdown finale is here. Number 1 is Megan's gorgeous performance of "What About Love" at Wicked LA's Defying Inequality benefit on January 12, 2009. Happy holidays everyone!
Number 2: The MHO staff's favorite song from 9 to 5, "I Just Might," as performed at Barnes & Noble at the OBCR launch on July 14, 2009.
Number 3: One of the more emotional and beautiful versions of "For Good" ever recorded, from Eden Espinosa's last show as Elphaba in Wicked LA on December 30, 2007.
Number 4: One of our favorite moments from 9 to 5: the "Rooster to a Hen" speech. Do not mess with Doralee!
Number 5 is Megan's contribution to the July 9, 2009 performance of Don't Quit Your Night Job!
Number 6: Megan's performance of "The Dance" at Scott Alan's Concert at M Bar in Hollywood on September 19, 2009.
Alternate version with complete song - Unfortunately, this version is sideways, but if you want to hear the small portion of the song that was cut off on the featured video, you can catch it here.
Number 7: What Megan video countdown would be complete without "Popular"? ("Toss toss no hands and shake it and move it and...") This version is from Wicked LA (April 2008) and features Teal Wicks as Elphaba.
Number 8: The "Defying Gravity Threesome" with Shoshana Bean and Eden Espinosa from Broadway Hits Ontario on March 3, 2008.
Number 9: one of our favorite Megan interviews, this one with Los Angeles's KTLA Morning Show during the LA run of 9 to 5.
Number 10 is not actually a video; it's an audio recording of Megan singing "Part of Your World" at Wicked Divas with the Cincinnati Pops on November 13, 2009. (Trust us; you need to hear her sing this song.)
Number 11: Megan, Stephanie J. Block, and Allison Janney sing "Shine Like the Sun" for Broadway in Bryant Park on July 16, 2009.
Number 12: Megan performing "Change It" from the Grammy-nominated 9 to 5: The Musical. (Unfortunately we can't embed this vid, so please click on the link.)
