Megan Confirms Role in Dorothy of Oz and Upcoming Events

Megan's busy! Lots of upcoming events and announcements this week.

On Friday, May 21, Megan announced that she will be voicing the role of the "China Princess" in the upcoming animated film Dorothy of Oz. The film will not be out until 2012, but you can keep up with its production by following the film's Facebook Page or checking out its Web site.

As mentioned previously, Megan will be singing at the Angels 4 Ana Benefit Concert on Monday, June 7 at 8 p.m. at the Boston Court Performing Arts Center (70 North Mentor Avenue, Pasadena). Megan announced this week that if you use the promo code "HILTY" you can obtain tickets for $30. Tickets can be purchased via the Angels 4 Ana Web site or by calling 1-800-838-3006. If you can't attend, donations for this important cause are being accepted at the Web site.

Thanks to NBS member Tori Rose, we've been able to obtain full Live Chat video. This video is a little jumpier than what we were able to share previously, but it is the complete Live Chat in MOV format (approximately 1.3 GB when joined). It's in two files, so you'll have to use HJ Split, Concat, or Machacha to put it together.

Links to the partial video (streaming and MP4) and full audio we posted last week can be found here.

We've also learned the dates for the screenings of Bitter Feast, which will be premiering at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Screenings are at the Downtown Independent Theater, 251 S. Main St. in Los Angeles on June 18 at 9:45 p.m. and June 20 at 10 p.m. Tickets are $12. Remember, this one's not for the kiddies!

Finally, on May 16, Megan sang at the Rubicon Theatre Company's Festival of New American Musicals Fundraiser. Thanks in part to Flor, we've been able to obtain photos of this event. (Click on the photo to go to the gallery.)
