Live Chat Recap and Upcoming Events
On Saturday May 15, Megan was gracious enough to spend an hour with us in a Live Chat. She talked about upcoming projects, including a concert in LA (likely in August), an as-yet unannounced show in Tucson in September, and some pending movie roles. She also told a number of entertaining stories about her stage and TV experiences and life as a performer. It was a wonderful experience getting to spend an hour with her and we are incredibly grateful to her for her generosity. If you weren't able to attend the Live Chat or would like to experience it again, here's the archived (partial) video.
Please note that due to your Web site administrator's brain fade, the video recording starts about 15 minutes into the chat. If anyone out there recorded the whole thing, please get in touch with admin@MeganHiltyOnline.com. Thanks.
In addition, you can download the 43 minute MP4 video (approximately 130 MB) or the full 58 minute MP3 of the complete chat (approximately 53 MB).
We'd also like to send a thank you to everyone who attended the Live Chat and submitted such thoughtful, interesting questions, and to our moderators who worked so hard at managing the chat room. We're grateful to all of you for helping to make this a fun experience both for Megan's fans and for Megan herself.
In other news:
- Megan will be an instructor at the Broadway Dreams Foundation's Summer Performing Arts Intensive on June 7-12 in Atlanta, Georgia. While applications for attending the program are closed, there will be a closing concert on June 13 at 2 p.m. in the John A. Williams Theatre. No word on how much Megan will participate in the concert itself, but she'd probably love for those who are in the area to see her students perform!
- On Sunday, May 16, Megan sang at the kickoff event for the Rubicon Theater Company's 2010 Festival of New American Musicals. We are attempting to obtain photos of this event.
